*** who are journalists? ***

The short answer: journalists report and inform the public. They are writers, they are reporters. They keep mass audiences informed of events and trends.

Behind every journalist, however, comes a set of characteristics that really are no different than any other well-read, educated person. They love to read and write, they are inherently curious, and they have a desire to contribute something to this world. What sets journalists apart from a person of any other profession is their drive. They don't just love to read, they have to read. They aren't just curious, they won't stop until they get their answers. They don't just have a desire to contribute they do contribute and every time their work is published they are tangibly rewarded. Journalists have a story to tell, and they know how to tell it well.
